Johann Wolfgang Goethe
As a translator authorised by the District Court of Hanover for English and Russian, I am entitled to make certified translations of documents for authorities and courts.
After translating a document, I confirm the accuracy and completeness of the translation with my signature, my stamp and the appropriate certification notation.
This is not to be confused with the notarial authentication – I am not authorised to confirm the accuracy of a signature or transcript.
According to § 26 of the Lower Saxon judiciary law, such certification notations under translations may only be issued by authorised, sworn or publicly appointed translators (the term used varies from federal state to another).
The judicial portal of the federal government and the states provides a database of interpreters and translators of the judicial administrations, in which all sworn, publicly appointed interpreters and authorised translators are listed.
Translations of Russian documents take into account two spellings:
The transliteration is a literal translation of Cyrillic into Latin letters.
Transcription is a phonetically accurate transmission.
I can provide certified translations of these documents
